My Apple Conversion (Iphone and Imac)
Update 9/26 In just one day of being posted I have already received several pointers on how to better utilize my Mac.

firstly, congratulations on joining the apple world
im pretty sure you will get used to the imac very quickly.
For your wmv files i suggest a free media player for the OS X called VLC media player.
