About BenKoo.com

About Benkoo.com – Once upon a time the domain name Benkoo.com was taken by somebody who just had a text ads on the page. For years I yearned for it, with no vision of what I would do if I could acquire the domain. In 2007 the site became availabile and I blogged about TV, Movies, Sports, Silicon Valley, Technology, internet culture, and stupid personal stories. As I became more involved in the Online Sports startup space, I began focusing more on blogging about that industry.

In 2009 I attended a conference where I realized that my audience was actually primiarly business contacts and industry folks. With that in mind, I now pretend I am really smart and blog almost exclusively on sports 2.0 (web 2.0 sports startups.). In real life I am probably not as smart, way funnier (Best sense of Humor class of 01!), but just as handsome as you imagined.

About Ben Koo– I am the CEO of Bloguin, a blog content and advertising platform with over 180 blogs spanning an audience of 1 million.  After serving as a Business Development Manager at Yardbarker in 2008, I split my time between founding Bloguin and consulting roles as a Product Manager for Watercooler Sports and a Demand Generation Manager at GroundWork Open Source.

I also moonlight as a writer for Bucknuts.com, the leading website and magazine for Ohio State athletics coverage. Prior work and internship experience includes Time Inc, Acopia Networks, Etrade Financial, and as a Product Marketing Manager at SugarCRM from 2006-2008.
