Peter Myers Love Charlie Weis, Notre Dame, Fight the Power, and Pepsi but hates the suburbs, Coors, and Stanford

There are a lot of interesting people on the Internet. For instance check out the comments on my article about how Tyler Hansbrough commercial is awful. When you google “Tyler Hansbrough commercial”, look what happens.

While you would think this is a good thing, my blog mocking how terrible that commercial is pops up for every fan of his and or North Carolina who wants to watch it. They want to gawk at Tyler getting his own commercial. Instead they get my article saying how much it blows. This leads to awesome comments like this:

“With a last name like Koo you shouldn’t be calling anyone else “ridiculous”..”

ben koo is a poo poo. he said it all when he said hansbrough is the most despised for basically working hard???? are you kidding me. ben koo must be one of those people who sue mcdonald’s for spilling coffee on himself. get a life, and a job, you should be fired for writing this article.”

Luckily this comment was not seen by my boss at benkoo.com. Here is another gem.

To Mr., uhhhh KOO? What is it with you punks who are just jaded for the sake of being jaded, like by being that way you have hit on some profound life philosophy? Your guy is President now so why so perpetually pissed off?
If you want some real life philosophy, read The Bible. Get happy ya idgit. BTW, you have no writing talent either, so take down this website. Loser.”

That’s enough of that, but now I want to introduce you to my source of entertainment. Allow me to introduce you to Peter Myers, who during a Twitter tantrum got a little frisky with Mizzourah blog. Just a quick note, its not a good idea to piss off those guys.

So lets start with some background info on Peter. He has only 2 followers and out of his 200+ tweets about 10% of them are to Taylor Swift. Per his Twitter page here are some things he likes and dislikes. Its at this point, I’ll insert the jump as from here on out its NSFW. Clich read more to follow along.

Peter loves Pepsi and tv, but has a gripe with Coors and the suburbs. I like suburbs and Coors is okay, but I also like Pepsi and tv. I wonder if we could be friends one day?

Peter for some reason is also a Notre Dame and Charlie Weis fan. During the intense game, he seemed to find energy to root for the team by listening to Fight the Power.

Unfortunately though the Irish were unable to maintain a 4th quarter lead and lost in an exciting game. The pundits all weighed in that this was the nail in the coffin for Weiss who finished this regular season with a 4 game losing streak. At this point, everyone seems to believe it will be days until Weis is fired and Notre Dame fans seem to be fine with the decision if not fully supportive.

But not Peter Myers. Below are a series of Tweets right after the game. Notice in how most cases, his rants were completely out of left field and random wanting to tear into anyone who was anti-Weis or Notre Dame or even just pro Stanford.

These two are my favorite as now media sources like Stanford’s rivals.com feel the wrath of Mr. Myers.

More of the same, but if you look at the time stamps you can see this wasn’t a quick blitz of Tweet hate drive-bys but a good 18 minutes assault on anyone who had anything to say about the game. Also you can see,  Myers thinks that the Notre Dame AD will not be making the decision about Weis, but rather God. That press conference is going to be sweet.

Finally Myers decides that tweeting random people with hate is not therapuetic and opts to go back to the mellow and peacful hymns of Public Enemy. Hopefully he enjoyed the tunes with some Pepsi.

I feel kind of bad (not really) for writing this article. Twitter is “real time” and platform is largely open and search-able. I wanted to write some posts of late about how it adds a level of accountability to people and companies. For instance there were 2 companies I had an issue with that was not being addressed. I simply tweeted to those corporate Twitter accounts which is of course public. In both instances they replied and helped facilitate my issues getting resolved.

And while having real time, public facing, information is positive, there are obviously cases like this where it can blow up in your face. Larry Johnson would be on the Chiefs right now if it wasn’t for Twitter is a great example.

The bottom line is that any one can see this guy’s Tweets and anyone except for Charlie Weis is probably gaffed at what’s wrong him. Congrats to the guy who punched Jimmy Clausen in the eye, you’re now the second most insane Irish fan.
