I have often blogged about Vudu, one of the many emerging “Digital Living Room” products to have hit the market. Similar to the Iphone, Vudu has only gotten better over time as its internet connection has allowed for a handful of various upgrades and new content. Last week Vudu unveiled some new fuctionality called Vudu Labs. It’s freaking sweet and below I give a quick demo.
At a high level Vudu labs gives you access to all of youtube on your television as well as photo sharing sites like Flickr and Picasa. The real meat is the Video On Demand which couples great programming from major networks, niche television content like G4, as well as a lot of popular video podcasts. Included is the Basketball Jones, a NBA video podcast (4 minutes in) that is amazing. Props to the guys on this new distribution. I wonder if anyone out there has watched them on a bigger screen (61). Does that make me their biggest fan or just the biggest technology yuppie fan?
