Its a little late for a mid life crisis for “Other Steve” also known as Steve Wozniak, the less prominent founder of Apple. Seemingly more active and vocal in Silicon Valley over the past couple years, Wozniak had a rebirth in the public eye the past week based on a couple of announcements.
I have a friend/ dude in my fantasy league, who recently took a job at Fusion IO and told me “the company is really legit. We have good press releases and management bios”.
As someone who wrote bios and press releases for a technology company, I was less then impressed which I conveyed back to him. He then let me know that although not public yet, Steve Wozniak was actually going to be joining the company shortly.
Touche` my friend as this was a notable accomplishment for any technology startup.
While that news was interesting, it pales in comparison to today’s annoucnment that Mr. Wozniak will be joining the likes of Larwence Taylor and Steve O on this upcoming season of Dancing with The Stars. Odds are he will be voted off pretty early on, but hey you never know.
